Size Exchange Program

If you are a domestic U.S. customer, and you happen to order the wrong size, ALTAI™ offers a simple process to receive the correct size. Free standard shipping is covered by ALTAI™ for one size exchange request. Subsequent size exchange requests may be subject to shipping charges and determined on a case-by-case basis.

Criteria for Size Exchange Requests

  • For domestic U.S. purchases only
  • Size exchange return request initiated within 30 days of receipt
  • Contact ALTAI™ directly at Exchanges@ALTAIgear.com to initiate request
  • New and unworn condition maintained (boots should be tried on indoors on a clean surface)
  • Hangtags must remain on the product
  • Boots returned in original packaging
  • No size exchanges on Factory Second Boots / Blem Boots / Cut-Tag Boots

Upon inspection, if the boots do not meet the above criteria, the exchange will include a handling fee for the damaged inventory returned. Handling fees may vary depending on the condition of returned boots. The replacement pair will be sent after receipt of the original pair.

ALTAI™ Return Program

If you are a domestic U.S. customer, and you happen to change your mind, ALTAI™ offers a simple process to return the boots and receive a credit back on the original card. Free standard shipping is covered by ALTAI™ for the return request.

Criteria for Return Requests

  • For domestic U.S. purchases only
  • Return request initiated within 30 days of receipt of boots
  • Contact ALTAI™ directly at Returns@ALTAIgear.com to initiate request
  • New and unworn condition maintained (boots should be tried on indoors on a clean surface)
  • Hangtags must be remain on the product
  • Boots returned in original packaging
  • No returns on Factory Second Boots / Blem Boots / Cut-Tag Boots

*ALTAI™ does reserve the right to reject an exchange request upon inspection of the boots. A full or partial credit will be applied upon inspection of the boots by an ALTAI™ employee.

Workmanship Guarantee

ALTAI™ gear is manufactured to a high level of craftsmanship. With normal use, should your boots fail due to a design flaw or defect, follow the steps below to initiate your request. Domestic U.S. customers will have either a 180-day warranty or a full 1-year warranty.

Warranty Policy

Upon initial purchase, domestic U.S. ALTAI™ customers are given a 180-day warranty covering their footwear purchase. For domestic U.S. customers looking to extend their warranty on the footwear to a full 1-year, they must register their footwear purchase through the ALTAI™ Warranty Department.

Registering Your Footwear: Domestic U.S. customers can register their footwear purchase here: Warranty Registration. Warranty registration must take place within 30 days of purchase from either ALTAI™ website or ALTAI™ Retailers. All ALTAI™ purchases are eligible for the 1-year warranty program, excluding any discontinued models. Discontinued ALTAI™ models are subject to their own warranty policy.

Criteria for Warranty Exchange Requests

  • For domestic U.S. purchases only
  • Warranty claim must be made within the designated warranty period for that specific purchase (either 180-day or limited 1-year).
  • Boots registered with ALTAI™ Warranty Department within 30 days of purchase are granted a limited 1-year warranty
  • Boots not registered with ALTAI™ Warranty Department within 30 days of purchase are granted a limited 180-day warranty
  • Contact ALTAI™ directly at Warranty@ALTAIgear.com to initiate request. Subject line should read; WARRANTY CLAIM REQUEST
  • ALTAI™ Customer Service Department will provide a return label to ship the footwear back to ALTAI™ HQ for warranty inspection.
  • Upon inspection of the boots, ALTAI™ will provide either an exchange, refund (full or partial), or reject the request for exchange. Warranty exchanges are issued at the discretion of the ALTAI™ Warranty Department.
  • Limit one warranty exchange request per purchase

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Factory Second Boots / Blem Boots / Cut-Tag Boots
  • Extended wear and tear damage, included but not limited to worn stitching and wear holes
  • Damage resulting from general misuse, neglect, or other damage outside of normal use
  • Modifications or alterations to the boot
  • Damage resulting from contact with any foreign substance or chemicals
  • Sizing issues
